Or perhaps you’re planning to continue social distancing and gathering virtually until the fall. No matter your plans, Sparkhouse’s Summer Digital Activity Kits can help churches stay in touch with their families and encourage families to engage with faith at home throughout the season. The Digital Activity Kits are available on Sparkhouse Digital. They’re designed specifically for each different age level—Early Childhood, Children, and Youth—and include activities, games, prayers, and more that celebrate the theme of God’s Big, Beautiful World. Using supplies families have around the house, plus a few that are easy to find at the dollar store or online, these kits will give families lots of ideas for engaging with God’s creation—and with each other! Families with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers can play a Frolic memory game, use their stuffed animals to explore all the places animals live in God’s creation, and make a star twirler art project together. Elementary kids can share jokes with their families, create art projects using nature items, and do summer activities with their families. Middle and high school students can recreate classical biblical art using whatever they have around the home, recreate constellations using marshmallows and toothpicks, and play a game of POTLUCK! with their families or their youth groups. All ages can make Christmas Cookies in July (or June or August), read their Bibles, and pray together as a family each night. And that’s just a few of the activities included in this summer’s kits. Summer is a wonderful season for spending time with family and exploring God’s creation. Give the families in your church the tools engage with their faith at home while they enjoy time together with each other and with God. With a Sparkhouse Digital Subscription, you’ll have access to the Summer Digital Activity Kit content and other Sparkhouse Digital–exclusive content, as well as leader guides, director guides, videos, and music from all our brands.
