Making the Most of a Sparkhouse Digital Subscription

Dec 29, 2020 9:00:00 AM / by Sparkhouse

Sparkhouse Digital Early Childhood, Children, and Youth put all the leader content you need for lessons from any of our brands in one place, plus exclusives developed especially for Sparkhouse Digital customers to use with their congregations. But how do you make the most of all this content—especially during a global pandemic?

Lots of the content available to SHD customers can be adapted for remote use. For Early Childhood subscribers, we recommend exploring the Frolic Nursery Mini Lessons. Choose a Mini Lesson for a Bible story you’d like to read; then schedule a virtual meeting with your families with infants, toddlers, and/or preschoolers, and use the Mini Lesson as a guide to read the story, do a short activity, and pray together. The Mini Lessons are especially designed for kids with short attention spans. Expand your time together by leading a song from the Frolic Faith Music CD or Frolic Preschool Music CD—all available on SHD!

Don’t forget to explore the Bonus Content available too! There are lots of options, including children's messages you can use during worship.

Children’s subscribers have access to a plethora of content that can enhance remote lessons, no matter which brand you usually use. If you’re a Spark customer, take a look at the videos available for Whirl, Holy Moly, or Connect and make them available for families to view during a remote Sunday school lesson or on their own during the week. Spark, Whirl, and Holy Moly customers can explore the Spark Art and Wild Card extras available for age 2 through grade 6 and send them to families to do at home together. If you’re looking for workshop-style activities that families can do, check out the Spark Rotation workshops for 48 different Bible stories.

Included in the Children’s Bonus Content are Faith Together at Home pages—short devotional activities families can do together, in addition to children’s messages that can be used during worship and several intergenerational programs that can be led in-person after the pandemic or adapted for virtual use.

Similar to Children’s subscribers, customers with access to the Youth content can make videos from Colaborate, Re:form, Echo the Story, and Connect available during virtual youth group sessions or during the week, no matter which brand you usually use. Youth Bonus Content includes Worship Notes that students can use in-person or during virtual worship and At the Movies sessions that can be led in real-time or after youth have watch the films on their own.

SHD can be a great tool—whether you’re planning in-person or virtual gatherings. If you haven’t tried it, sign up for a free trial today.
