# [3 reasons to level up with Sparkhouse at NYWC 2018!](https://blog.wearesparkhouse.org/sparkhouse-nywc-2018)

This month, youth workers will be attending the biggest party of the year and we’ll be there, too! We’re getting ready to attend [National Youth Workers Convention (NYWC)](https://www.nywc2018.com/) in St. Louis, November 15-18. Every year, we look forward to chatting with you about what’s happening in your youth ministry (and well, more importantly, maybe getting some tips on how you balance it all!).

This year, we invite you to stop by for three key reasons.

## **Prepare your thumbs**

We aren’t even going to save the best for last. There will be Mario Kart. In our booth.

We’ve taken on the burden in the office (I KNOW, it’s a tough gig, but somebody had to do it!) ahead of time to unlock as many car customizations as we can for you prior to NYWC! Don’t worry, you won’t have to compete against us (unless you really want some sweet competition on Rainbow Road).

## **Get your 15 minutes of fame**

The [Youth Ministry Podcast](http://ympodcast.com/) will be recording LIVE episodes each and every day at NYWC! Erik and special guest Carla Barnhill will host special episodes that feature YOU and your youth ministry tips, favorite moments, and everything in between.

Stop by to hear them reflect on the event, interview special guests, and maybe even participate yourself.

They’ll also be giving away some fun podcast swag. (Trust us, you don’t want to miss this!)

## **Find a new resource that gets your youth asking questions**

If they’re asking questions, they’re likely engaged, right (and not looking at their phones)?

Stop by and talk to us about how you can get your youth asking questions and taking ownership of their faith through our newest resource, [T.B.D.: Think. Believe. Do.](https://www.wearesparkhouse.org/store/category/286882/T-B-D-)

## **So, where can you find us?**

We are right in the main aisle – meaning, you won’t be able to miss us! Stop by booth 601 and tune in to the Youth Ministry Podcast; plus, try your hand at Mario Kart 8 – you might just be fast enough to be the lucky winner of a Nintendo Switch!

*We look forward to seeing you in the city of the Gateway Arch! We’ll be bringing our Mario Kart A-game. Will you be ready to have some fun? Let us know [on social media](http://facebook.com/wearesprkhouse)!*
