Sparkhouse Faces Delays in Inventory and Shipping

Sparkhouse, along with many other retailers worldwide, is currently experiencing delays in both obtaining inventory and shipping orders. Both of these delays are related to the COVID-19 pandemic and its economic ripple effects, including labor shortages at all points of the supply chain, port closures due to outbreaks, and increased shipping volume as people order more products online.

As a result of these problems, we are out of stock of a variety of products and will likely run out of more in the weeks and months to come. We are working with our suppliers to reorder resources as quickly as possible, but sometimes there are no quick options. We have added a notice on resource pages that are currently out of stock with an estimated arrival date.

Even products that are in stock may take longer than usual to ship. As such, it is important to order resources well in advance of when you need them. Our best estimates are that, in order to get resources in time for Advent, you should order by October 29, 2021. For curricula, our best estimates are that you should order winter quarter by October 29, 2021, and spring quarter by February 4, 2022. These dates are estimates based on carriers' recommendations at this time and are subject to change.
